MY NECESSITIES : FOR WORK

I design on a laptop because I prefer to move around to different spots for visual interest and hate being confined to a desk. Recently, I started looking for a better "desk" for my lap than the flimsy plastic thing I had been using and came upon a new product on Etsy....I am a bit of an Etsy-holic. The shop is Wudzee, and all the products are handmade in United States. I had a few color options and went with the maple finish. This lap desk is so perfect for my needs. It's insanely cool-looking. It has these oversized perforations for proper air flow (which also adds to the modern look). It is comfortable to carry around and hold on my lap. Plus, it has plenty of room for my mousepad.

Actually, my mousepad is also new - I was having severe wrist pain, and I can't live without this one now. It's like a little marshmallow for my arm. I ordered it from my other shopping addiction website, Amazon. Check it out here. 

These two things have quickly become everyday necessities for me. Now, if I could just convince Apple to start making the 17" laptop again (since mine is on it's last leg), I would be even more happy.
