ARTIST FEATURE : TANYA LING

Tanya Ling's fashion illustrations are stunning. I wish prints of her work were available - I would hang them all over my house! Her work has been commissioned by designers and publications such as British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Diane Von Furstenberg and Louis Vuitton. She studied fashion design and textiles, was a designer for Christian Lacroix, designed her own collection of ready-to-wear and is now the Creative Director for a new luxury ready-to-wear brand named Veryta. The painterly strokes in her work have such beautiful movement. Her unique style and use of soft colors combined with black really intrigues me, and I could stare at the large eyes in her paintings all day.
